Meet Lane,
He's an energetic four year old with a real love for chickens. These are some of his very special girls!
Whether it's gathering eggs with Mom, or building new things for the coop with Daddy, this kid does it all. The girls love him right back and they tag along around on the farm with him every chance they get. Each one has made it down the slide of his playhouse in his lap at least a hundred times!
His family recently ran into some trouble though when he got to see his first batch of eggs hatch. He swiftly put an end to anyone enjoying warm yummy omelets or soft scrambled eggs for breakfast. It was dry toast and cold coffee for everyone along with a side of angry little boy!
It took a lot of love, patience and a special flashlight to convince him that not every egg gets to have a baby chick inside. Rest assured, he now checks Every. Single. Egg. before he'll hand it over to anyone!
